Rental Maintenance Supervisor

Emeco are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Kalgoorlie branch! Reporting to the Goldfields Area Manager you will be responsible for the supervision of all maintenance and services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervise maintenance and services across sites. 
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to develop and maintain efficient and productive maintenance practices across site
  • Ensure uptime and reliability of Emeco mobile equipment
  • Ensure safe working systems and practices are maintained for Emeco mobile equipment 
  • Support mobile equipment maintenance for client dry hire sites
  • Manage breakdowns and parts supply for client dry hire sites
  • Track and record equipment downtime into the maintenance management system - AMT 
  • Coordinate and enter mobile equipment oil sample data into OEM data bases
  • Track and manage condition monitoring work orders with clients
  • Review client Emeco service reports, work orders and parts requests
  • Participate in planning meetings to prioritise upcoming work into the maintenance schedule
  • Assist in remotely supporting Emeco maintained sites from time to time
  • Actively demonstrate and promote a high level of safety awareness and encourage safe work practices

Required skills / experience & attributes:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role, effectively leading a team in a mining environment
  • Schedule 26 (Desirable not essential) 
  • Be highly experienced across all areas in the comprehensive maintenance of mobile equipment, including breakdowns, diagnostics and repairs
  • Possess a sound understanding of maintenance practices and procedures, with the ability to enforce them, as well as a sound knowledge of equipment safety legislation.
  • Strong computer skills and literacy, with experience using Pronto, AMT or a similar system highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build successful and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
  • Valid "C Class" Manual Driver's Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • National Police Clearance within 6 months of issue date  
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
  • FULL Working Rights within Australia
