Maintenance Supervisor

Roster: 7/7 Day/Night 12hr shifts

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and directing maintenance crews to support daily operations and ensure high levels of equipment availability and reliability. This role requires strict adherence to safety and operational standards, including:  

• Yarrabee's Safety & Health Management System • Company policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct • Scheduled maintenance plans • Manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices • Supervising and supporting maintenance teams to meet operational targets • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant standards • Monitoring and manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime • Providing guidance on fault finding and troubleshooting of heavy mining equipment • Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient operations

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need: • A relevant trade qualification and current Supervisor Competencies (S1, S2, S3, G2) • Current Standard 11 (Surface) & Queensland Driver’s Licence • Demonstrated leadership experience in maintenance supervision within mining or heavy industry • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills on heavy mining equipment • Experience with contractor management, cross-functional collaboration, and crew training coordination • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems and intermediate computer literacy • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
