About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent in this Maintenance Supervisor role you will be responsible for leading a dedicated high performing team who perform Routine Service and Maintenance Repair activities on a range of earth moving equipment, providing support and contributing to operational continuous improvement outcomes. This permanent, residential position is based at on site at Mt Arthur Coal Mine Site and is being offered on a rotating 2 panel roster, day shift only. Key responsibilities
- Supporting, coaching and mentoring a team to ensure optimal delivery against performance and safety targets
- Embedding the workshop 5S and Lean methodology
- Leading a team in a frontline supervisory capacity
- Sound MS Office skills
- Managing work management activities via the 1SAP Maintenance Management systems
- Utilising your collaboration skills to work across various stakeholders to ensure maintenance activities are performed in line with the mine plan.
- Continuously improve procedures and processes
About You
The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualification or trade qualification with experience in a Leading a team. Your people and communication skills are of the upmost importance as well as your relationship skills when liaising, negotiating and influencing a range of internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience with 1SAP will be beneficial.
The nature of the role requires you to be a people leader, a forward thinker and focussed on process discipline. A background in leading high performing teams with a strong safety focus will be critical to the success of this position.
A valid Australian Driver’s license is a pre-requisite.
