About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Support Officer to support all planning and scheduling activities helping contribute to the planning and scheduling of maintenance administration activities. Reporting to the Senior Planner, you will:

  • Check, verify and clearly stage all scheduled & shut components ready for the execution teams.
  • Rescheduling maintenance orders with parts that have not arrived before the scheduled execution start time.
  • Check and verify reschedules and reorder missing parts.
  • Provide a central platform to track key metrics
  • Provide a daily checklist to ensure conformity. 
  • Provide the missing link between warehouse and MEM.
  • Track and follow up the core returns on-site.
  • Uniform parts staging areas, clearly labelled and easy to use.
  • Uniform & weatherproof parts staging cages.
  • Provide a platform to allow a positive and constructive feedback loop between Warehouse and MEM.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A current C Class Drivers Licence
  • Strong experience within a Maintenance environment
  • Display ability to work within large teams
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals within set timeframes and demonstrated ability to take initiative and be innovative
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication and organisational skills are essential
  • Experience in positions requiring high level attention to detail is essential
  • High level computer skills with SAP and Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Project are essential
  • Prior knowledge of work management processes and key performance indicators will be highly regarded
  • Prior warehouse or parts coordinating will be highly regarded
