We are looking for a Maintenance Support Officer to join the Mobile Maintenance Team at Hope Downs 4 to provide an effective and efficient inbound materials consolidation process, in a timely and safe manner.
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor and working 8 days on, 6 days off, this role will require you to:
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team
- Analyse parts requirements for planned work
- Ensure timely consolidation of parts through the coordination with Maintenance Planners, Schedulers, Warehouse Officers, freight providers and other external vendors.
- Consolidate materials in accordance with scheduled Work Orders.
- Coordinate the return of stock to the warehouse
- Actively engage in warehouse operations including deliveries, stock control and housekeeping
- Assist in the coordination of inbound and outbound freight.
- Provide frontline procurement and logistics support to the maintenance planning and scheduling teams
- Promoting positive behaviour and a supportive safety / team culture.
- Manage Core and Warranty returns with vendor partners and other RTIO sites.
What you will bring
- A Commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Excellent communication skills, highly organised with the ability to work independently while being a part of a larger dynamic maintenance team.
- Strong SAP skills required to navigate around purchasing, maintenance, and supply
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics distribution centre
- Knowledge in the maintenance repair, planning or scheduling of mobile equipment
- C Class manual licence or higher
