About the Role

As the Major Incident Coordinator, you are responsible for documenting and communicating activities across all major incidents.

Employees on this roster enjoy two full weekends off out of four and will align to the following shift rotation: 2D2N5X, 2D3N4X, 3D2N5X. Shifts are 12.5 hours including handover, and you will benefit from additional shift allowances, as part of your remuneration package. As an added benefit, those on a Lifestyle Roster will also enjoy an additional week of annual leave per year.    

Your Responsibilities:   

  • Contribute to the management and support of Major Incident candidate assessment.
  • Provide initiation of technical and stakeholder bridges.
  • Coordinate recovery actions and plans for Major Incidents
  • Ensure that an accurate timeline of activities on a Major Incident is documented
  • Execute notifications as defined in a Major Incident Management procedure
  • ECR approval as a workaround/recovery option.

About You

  • Tertiary education in Technology related qualifications.
  • Demonstrated work experience in Information Technology of which some years in service management.
  • Certification in ITIL Foundation (Essential).
  • While it’s not mandatory, experience with “Service Now” will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of business acumen and understanding of business applications used in a large, multinational business organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically through email and oral presentations.
  • Must be willing to work a shift schedule (holidays & weekends required).

You will be based in Perth, Western Australia, in the multi-award-winning office tower - ‘City Square’. You will have stunning river views from your modern open plan office, state of the art facilities including virtual whiteboards and video conferencing facilities, 550 bicycle racks with ample lockers, showers and change room amenities and a large outdoor terrace with barbecues.
