We are looking for a Management Account – focused on business analysis and able to support and develop Power BI modules, to act as a business advisor, to influence and provide meaningful analysis in the decision-making process. This role will have strong elements of stakeholder engagement on-site with the operations teams taking financial information and partnering to translate information info activities and processes predominantly within Power BI.

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant who is interested in joining a team of professionals working with Power BI to build modules whilst gaining exposure to site operations and liaising with senior leadership teams. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner Gove you will be:
- Actively partnering with the Team on developing Power BI Modules.
- Providing monthly cost analysis to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop budgets, forecasting and perform monthly reviews and cost leadership rituals.
- Actively seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
- Engaging with site personnel to increase business acumen across the business whilst ensuring controls are adhered to.
- Attending and preparing for key monthly meetings with leadership teams at site.
- Overseeing the preparation of transactional month-end requirements.
- Approach duties with a focus on improvement, aiming to streamline and automate where possible and assisting with improvement projects.
What you’ll bring
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- SAP experience.
- Power BI Skills.
- Bachelor of Business/Commerce or equivalent in accounting.
- Prior Management accounting experience.
- Effective stakeholder engagement experience.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships across the business. Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement.
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Mining or related industry experience.
- Worked with offshore centralised service provider.
