We are seeking a Manager, Asset Management to work with a diverse and passionate group of stakeholders to drive excellence in asset management at our Aluminium Smelter at Bell Bay. This is a great opportunity to manage a broad portfolio of work designed to optimise the condition of our Smelter and future-proof our operations.

Reporting to the General Manager Operations, and working with the broader Rio Tinto Asset Management team, your role is essential to:
- Managing the complete asset life cycle with a focus on robust maintenance activities, optimisation and delivering results
- Defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap to deliver our asset management strategy
- Leading and developing team members within the asset management department including maintenance execution, planning and engineering and site services/utilities teams
- Developing engineering solutions to minimise the failure rate of critical equipment and finding innovative pathways to increase reliability
- Planning and control of site assets to ensure that they are maintain at a frequency to deliver reliable performance
- Maintaining our fleet of industrial mobile equipment and proactively understanding future needs to support the business
- Maintaining and developing site systems, processes and practices to increase efficiency and production
- Collaborate with key partners to sustainably deploy technology that enables group asset management processes
- Act as the custodian of metrics standards associated with risk, performance, and cost measurements
- Develop and manage the annual planning process and budget for continuous improvement in collaboration with key stakeholders and partners
