We are looking for a Manager Fixed Plant & MEM to join the Pilbara Mines leadership team and deliver world-class asset management and engineering support across our Marandoo operations.

This role offers you an opportunity to manage more than just steady state operations. Reporting to the General Manager Tom Price and Marandoo and working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will:
- Provide long term strategies and plans with a clear line of sight from the overall business objectives building capacity, productivity and improvement
- Implement core activities, practices and procedures and follow-ups to develop safety culture
- Identify opportunities to optimise and rationalise fixed plant and mobile equipment assets
- Define the strategies for the renewal or disposal of fixed plant and mobile equipment assets
- Deploy and develop maintenance teams and individuals
- Ensure core asset management processes and practices are being applied
- Assess and manage risks over asset lifecycle
- Review and audit compliance with business standards
- Manage incident investigations, reporting, and appropriate communications to the wider business for replicable learnings
- Be accountable for delivery of ore product that meets the product quality specification through consistent and reliable plant performance
In addition to the above, you'll build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across our operational teams and functional support teams while externally, you'll partner with our original equipment manufacturers.

- Process plant operations and/or asset management and/or maintenance optimization experience
Exposure to fixed plant and/or heavy mobile equipment maintenance is desirable, we would be interested in hearing from individuals with leadership experience gained across other operational maintenance environments.

Where you’ll be workingThe Marandoo mine is located at the foot of Mount Bruce adjacent to the Karijini National Park, 50 km east of the town of Tom Price. Marandoo is known for its picturesque hills and mountain ranges. Our operation currently employs a fly in fly out workforce.
