About the Role
BHP FutureFit Academy is seeking internal applications for the Perth-based position of Manager FutureFit Academy. The role will require significant operational and people management experience, coupled with exceptional internal and external stakeholder engagement abilities. The Manager FutureFit Academy (Perth) will provide single leader accountability for all aspects of the Perth academy, leading a team focused on operational delivery of;

Leadership to a team of 300+ including Apprentices and Trainees

Supervision and delivery of training in accordance with our Registered Training Organisation partners

Safe management of FutureFit Academy infrastructure and facilities

This role is a key leadership role within BHP Operations Services, 100% locally based at the Perth (Forrestfield) FutureFit Academy
About You
An already established manager, you will bring a strong operational performance record along with renowned team, culture and leadership skills. You will have extensive experience across operations in disciplines such as Maintenance, Engineering or Production. You have a proven track record in safety performance and implementation of business improvement tools and principals and is established as the way you work. Your passion for leadership and your ability to lead, teach and coach diverse and inclusive teams will place you well for success in this highly visible and broad-scoped role. Ideally you will hold ;

Relevant VET Australian Vocational qualification (Cert III to Adv Diploma levels) and/or tertiary qualifications in an operations/asset management/business field or related discipline

Strong HSE and risk management experience within the mining/manufacturing/processing sector preferably operational maintenance

Significant leadership experience partnering with diverse stakeholders, incorporating a collaborative leadership style and approach.

High level written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
