We are looking for an ESPS Global Systems Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that the configuration of our global ERP is compliant with company policies, internal controls, and local regulatory requirements to support processes within a large, complex, high volume payroll function across the globe. This role is also a great opportunity to be a global champion of our tools while leading with a passion for compliance and process improvement using analytic products such as Microsoft PowerBI, and Microsoft PowerApps, and ETL tools such as EasyMorph. Reporting to the Senior Manager ESPS and working in a collaborative community within our Group Services function, you will:

  • Establish a global payroll systems team that champions a culture based upon compliance with regulatory requirements and company policy
  • Identify and lead the design and delivery of payroll system process improvements that deliver improved employee experience, service delivery excellence, process simplification and increased compliance posture
  • Influence payroll solution architecture and technical design, while ensuring that outcomes are delivered
  • Stay well-informed of global payroll-related legislation and best practice updates and identify required changes in the payroll systems or processes
  • Assess and provide input into the detailed solution and payroll system design for business change requests and local legislative amendments
  • Manage and define stakeholder requirements that impact ESPS processes
  • Build and maintain an assurance program to support global payroll system compliance health checks
  • Manage multiple projects, initiatives, and stakeholders across a variety of functions and teams

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • IT project management framework experience or equivalent is must and ITIL/SAP/IT-PMP Accreditation will be added advantage.
  • Advance multi-country payroll and employee benefit experience focusing on Australia, USA, and Canada
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft Power Apps, and ETL tools such as EasyMorph
  • Knowledge of SQL, data modelling ad data warehousing concepts is an advantage
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience, including automation, macros and VBA
  • Data analysis skills and familiarity with analytical techniques
  • Ability to influence and implement change through effective stakeholder management at all levels in a complex, networked/matrix global organization across multiple countries and cultures.
  • A natural leader with a high level of initiative, motivation, and drive to succeed with the ability to lead a team that supports a range of countries and cultures.
