About the Role:
Provide the Surface Mining operational teams with expert support, as well as mentoring and guiding them in HSEQ goals and objectives.
Role Details:
- Location: Nifty Copper Project in Pilbara Region
- Roster: 8:6 FIFO EX Perth

Responsibilities:
- Establish and drive a high standard of HSEQ performance across the Project sourcing and distributing appropriate HSEQT awareness information regularly.
- Support the tendering process with HSEQ input and requirements.
- Manage and maintain the local Health and Safety Management System.
- Assist in Emergency Management support to operational teams.
- Lead HSEQ audits for compliance and manage local ISO certifications.
- Facilitate incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and corrective actions.
- Lead risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies including the management of the local critical risk management program.
- Liaise with clients to build collaborative working relationships and to foster confidence in Macmahons Integrated Management System.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety or a related discipline.
- Over 10 years operational and safety experience in mining.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ systems, audits, and compliance requirements.
