Purpose
We are looking for a motivated and deeply experienced manager to lead the delivery of our exploration operational activities across Australasia. This is a senior leadership role leading diverse high-performing teams in dynamic environments.
Reporting to the Head of Global Operations, you will be accountable for the safe and efficient planning and execution of our exploration programs including drilling, geophysical surveys, earthworks and reconnaissance activities. You’ll enjoy a balance of time in the office and field, leading varied and interesting projects across our exploration portfolio in Australasia.
About the Role
As the Manager Operations you will:
• Successfully plan and execute exploration operational activities in alignment with company organisational commitments, industry best practices and regulatory requirements. • Positively create and sustain a mature safety culture through engaging, developing and coaching team members and contractor partners. • Encourage innovative thought and drive continuous improvement in exploration project management systems and processes. • Promote transparent and constructive working relationships across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, including internal technical teams, indigenous and community leaders, industry business partners and regulatory authorities. • Foster an engaged, diverse and inclusive culture, where everyone is motivated to achieve their full potential.
