About the Role

The Manager Performance and Improvement will be, based at one of our Global Offices & reporting to the Head of Performance and Improvement as part of the Functional Performance and Improvement team.

This senior position manages a team of performance and improvement experts to enable the best outcomes for the business globally.

The main accountabilities of the role include:  

  • Develop team culture and build team capability.
  • Supporting the identification and assessment of value for opportunities through substantiating improvement business cases, supporting strategy development, & identifying dependencies/ co-commitments.
  • Embed frameworks, tools and practices to shape the portfolio, lead delivery and support business realisation of value.
  • Lead project scoping exercises to define high level delivery plans, project methodology, resource allocations and funding requirements.
  • Define, plan and execute the end-to-end delivery of high value initiatives, endorsed studies and improvement initiatives.
  • Problem solving and analysis, customer and stakeholder engagement, solution design, development, delivery and embedment.
  • Mobilise and lead cross functional initiative teams throughout delivery, including partnering with Functions and delivery partners where required.
  • Assure risks to value delivery are documented, communicated and mitigated.
  • Senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and uplift team culture and capabilities through feedback and coaching of FP&I team members to enhance performance and support development.

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • A Degree or Professional qualification in business or related discipline.
  • Accreditations in different ways of working (i.e Agile, Lean).
  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities to solve Functional and enterprise problems.
  • Demonstrated experience leading initiatives / projects, ideally in a global environment with high profile stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in or exposure to one or more specialist improvement skills, including project management methodologies, Lean Six Sigma, process engineering, data analysis, human centred design, change management.
