Manager, Process Safety Roster: Monday to FridayLocation: Perth
The Manager Process Safety will be responsible for the development and implementation of Fortescue Future Industries Process Safety systems, compliance and awareness. They will provide governance and assurance to Process Safety related activities across the business.
Key Responsibilities

Provide Technical Safety design and engineering guidance and support to the business in alignment with international and local regulatory requirements

Drive a consistent approach to the application of Process Safety across FFI countries & regions.

Establish a process for maintaining compliance to Process Safety processes and legislative requirements.

Ensure timely reporting to internal & external regulators in relation to Process Safety.

Integrate Process Safety requirements into the Health and Safety Management Systems and company Engineering Standards.

Input into required regulatory deliverables such as Safety Cases for Major Hazard Facilities.
Qualification and Skills:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering
- Experience in chemical processing or related industry
- 15+ years experience in Process Safety preferably with some international exposure
- Knowledge of Australian and applicable international codes and standards as well as the applicable statutory requirements
- Knowledge and experience in developing, implementing and maintaining Process Safety management systems
- Experience in managing teams either in an engineering setting or a Health and Safety team
- Experience in delivery and facilitation of process safety studies
