About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager of Operations Services execution this is an ideal opportunity for a Manager to Lead, develop and grow the Operations Services deployments within Nickel West. The role involves the direct leadership of production teams that operate within the Nickel West production process. There is opportunity for the Manager to grow the team and services provided where a value proposition exists. As an inclusive and effective leader, you will be charged to develop and sustain the culture and capability of the team. You will lead the team to operate in a climate of continuous improvement, being accountable and ensuring that all work is aligned with business-critical success factors. Core to your role is ensuring that all of your team members feel safe, valued and connected to our purpose. This role is currently FIFO from Perth to Leinster where Operations Services is currently running the Camelot Mining operation on a 5/2/4/3 or similar roster. As the Nickel West production Manager for Operations Services you will successfully lead the team in:

Ensuring a safe system of work to protect the health and safety of people and the environment in accordance with statutory and BHP requirements

Ensuring an engaged, inclusive and diverse culture, where everyone is motivated to work at their full potential

Managing performance targets and plans aligned to the Corporate Alignment Planning (CAP) processes

Improving productivity and disciplined application of the BHP Operating System (BOS)

Disciplined application of the Operations Services Operating Model, and its standards, processes and systems
About You
It is Important to us is that you are a forward-thinking leader with a strong focus on safety, inclusion and diversity, productivity and maximising the benefit of technology. You will have experience with open-pit production and maintenance and practices supported by relevant qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience in delivering outstanding results. Previous experience in successfully leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary diverse teams coupled with strong operational discipline is required to be successfully in this role. You will be a performance and achievement orientated professional, your leadership and technical strengths, and experience working within large complex organisations will be complimented by excellent engagement and communication skills. You will be confident in working through change management in a complex environment.
