Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri)
In support of Fortescue’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of our key initiatives will be in our Green Fleet projects whereby we will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet
Reporting to the Head of Project Management & Controls, we are presently looking for a Project Controls Manager
Key accountabilities will include:
Provision of Project Controls Capability including:
- Project Planning and Scheduling;
- Cost Control & Management;
- Cost and schedule status reporting;
- Planning, provision and management of Project Control resources to meet Project requirements.
- Continuously improve Project Controls processes and standards, guided by industry best practice, and fit for purpose for FFI.
- Quality assurance of project controls deliverables according to the Project Controls standards.
- Provision of training and upskilling of project controls employees.
- Manage a team providing SAP project services including:
- Project procurement services (Purchase requisitions, invoicing, accruals);
- Liaise with workshop coordinators to create Work orders according to statements of work;
- Support project teams to create new assets and maintenance plans in SAP;
Qualifications and skills required:
- 5-10 years’ experience working in project controls teams
- Strong leadership and experience in building high performing teams
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Commerce or Business desirable
- Experience in large engineering construction projects highly desirable
- Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellence
- Results driven, responsible and accountable
- Skilled in rapid problem solving
