ABOUT THE ROLE
The Opportunity - Permanent, Full-Time Position, this role will preferably be based at our office in the heart of the Perth CBD. We understand and value the benefits flexibility brings and operate a hybrid work model (in the office and from home)
An excellent opportunity for a Manager Risk, Improvement, and Planning to lead the development, implementation, and embedment of the Legal and External Affairs, including Sustainability Strategy functions Operating System (Risk Management and Stewardship processes, and other business improvement initiatives. Coordinate related functional activity, including project management, stakeholder engagement, capability building to drive continuous improvement, facilitating gap closure initiatives, and coaching and guidance to key stakeholders.
Reporting to the GM Government Relations and Public Policy but with a key interface with the Legal and External Affairs lead team, the key role responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Manage development and implementation of the function’s OS, Risk, and Stewardship processes, including assessment of critical gaps and action plan development
- Lead gap closure initiatives, and coordinate delivery of actions throughout the function
- Facilitate the strategic review and planning processes with the CLEAO and Legal and External Affairs lead team to enable the development of an aligned and integrated plan and portfolio
- Design and manage function Improvement programs/projects / pipelines of work to improve performance and capability
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience in operating model and/or management operating system design and implementation
- Previous experience in process improvement and process modelling
- Exposure to risk and information management concepts and processes
- Excellent project management and change management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate multiple stakeholder groups
- Systems thinker with well-developed abstract reasoning capability
Qualifications for this position are:
- Relevant tertiary Qualification required, and or project management qualification preferred
