Manager, Sales and Origination
Work location: Tysons Corner
Roster: Monday to Friday
Key responsibilities:

- Originate new green hydrogen, green ammonia and green fuels opportunities for customers across the US.
- Initiate, develop, maintain, and expand key customer relationships in one or more of these market sectors: Transportation/Mobility, Petrochemical/Refineries, Power/Utilities, or Agriculture/Fertilizer.
- Secure offtake contracts and partner with FFI’s internal business groups to ensure attractive project economics and growth opportunities for FFI’s portfolio of green hydrogen/green ammonia projects in the US.
- Evaluate green hydrogen demand in assigned market segment(s) and shape the strategic origination and marketing plan.
- Support the marketing of current products and solutions and work to develop new products as needed for our existing or new customers.
- Manage and assign accounts, following up with both existing and prospective customers to determine ongoing compatibility and customer satisfaction, resolve customer issues, and seek new sales opportunities.
- Monitor competitive landscape, economic indicators, and industry trends; identifies innovative approaches to increase market or geographic share.
- Engage and leverage the expertise of functional teams across the business to identify markets and additional business opportunities.
- Convert market and customer intel and research into actionable recommendations for projects siting with the development team.
- Primary responsibilities include new customer acquisition, meeting or exceeding assigned revenues and profit targets and executing on new account initiation in a timely and detailed manner.
- Manage other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and skills required:

- Minimum 8 years in a business development/sales or origination role.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated success closing energy off-take deals with a proven US network in place.
- Industry experience in hydrogen and industrial gas sales a plus.
- Strong understanding of at least one of the following market segments: power/utilities, industrial gas, agriculture/fertilizer and transportation preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High mobility/willingness to travel.
- Ability to understand and influence key decision makers.
- Experience motivating high performing teams.
- Capacity to manage high stress situations.
- Collaborative management style and team building skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills.
