About the role

We are looking for a Manager Service Delivery to manage and align practises within Operational Technology around demand, project shaping, operational readiness, emerging technologies, and risk. You will also oversee the contractor and vendor management processes, performance monitoring of them, and performance monitoring of the Operational Technology Team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Operational Technology Platforms, you will:

  • Demand Management & Project Shaping – Define and implement the demand management processes within Operational Technology. Shape the demand with the business owners, SME and focusing on value. Work with the different pillars of Operational Technology to deliver them via our Delivery Framework.
  • Operational Readiness – Ensure the technologies that are transition to or within the Operational Technology team are operationally ready for production in our operational landscape. That the correct support processes are established to ensure it is sustainable and supportable.
  • Management of Change – Ensure Management of Change processes are followed and well defined for the Operational Technology pillars.
  • Risk Approach – Aligned the management of the Operational Technology pillars to a risk-based approach. Coordinate and lead risk review processes of Operational Technology and the processes followed.
  • Contract and Vendor Management – Ensure all contracts and vendor engagement within the Operational Technology are governed in a consistence manner, the correct SRM’s are in place with the right stakeholders engaged actively.
  • Performance Management – Monitor the performance of the contract so the value is being obtained and Service Level Agreements are being met with both external and internal groups.
  • Emerging Technologies and Services – Monitor emerging technology within Operational Technology and co-ordinate with Technology owners where it may impact their roadmaps. Find opportunities and conduct PoC’s with Business Units that after the appropriate risk appetite.

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • An excellent understanding of Operational Technology and its alignment to the business value chain.
  • Experience in delivering Operational Technology in an integrated operational environment.
  • Experience in Management of Change processes within Operational Technology.
  • Understanding and the ability to Management Risk across technology and teams.
  • Understanding on all aspects of Application Lifecycle Management.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills internally and external with the ability to operate at all levels of the business.
  • Drive a collaborative culture amongst internal and external stakeholders, to successfully deliver business goals
  • Experience in adoption of emerging Technologies.
