About the role
We are looking for a Manager Strategy & Sourcing Land (APAC) tolead a team of Logistics professionals to execute the sourcing of third-party land logistics providers supply chain services across APAC in a safe, efficient and reliable manner which supports the business’ strategic direction and priorities.

Reporting to the General Manager – Logistics, you will:
· Leads a team in delivering supply chain services to enable value creating business opportunities, decisions and strategic directions to be realised
· Works in collaboration with logistics execution, sales, procurement and operational team to ensure fit for purpose supply chain and logistics solution to enable them to meet their business needs and goals
· Directs team to build business cases for optimising existing solutions, or development new solutions to fit strategic business initiatives and development opportunities
· Contributes to the development of the global logistics strategy
· In partnership with the logistics execution team, track performance and provide support in identifying issues and problem solving in line with business priorities.
· Advises management on the implementation and effectiveness of business improvement initiatives
· Develops, resources and leads the implementation of the business improvement plan with demonstrated sustainable value created
· Ensures execution of improvement initiatives to reach and exceed business plans
· Leads, develops and grows a diverse regional team of logistics and supply chain professionals
About you
· Minimum Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, International Trade, Marketing, Supply Chain or Maritime/Logistics.
· Extensive commercial, analytical, planning and technical skills related to logistics and supply chain activities at a regional or global scale.
· Demonstrated ability to perform high level analytical complexity and distil insight to senior stakeholders
· Leading, developing and engaging a team of diverse and global professionals across multiple regions
· Collaborating and influencing large groups of cross-functional stakeholders
It will also be beneficial if you have:
· Experience in mining and metals industry
