We’re looking for a Manager Cranes & Transport to oversee the provision of safe and efficient in house lifting services across our inland sites in the Pilbara region.
Leading the Cranes and Transport team you will be focused on people, safety and asset reliability by managing the utilisation of cranes, transport equipment, schedules, and personnel to ensure excellence in service delivery for maintenance and sustaining capital works.
This role will play an integral part in creating a strong learning culture in safety and connection. Partnering with a broad stakeholder group, success will see you increase positive presence across our teams, assets and communities.

About you
Whilst a background in mining operations would be well regarded, it’s not essential. We are seeking to appoint a capable people leader who is comfortable leading strategically and in the field. Your team will provide the expertise within their roles, you will showcase your skill set in engaging, developing, and collaborating.
With safety at the forefront of everything you do, a hands-on approach to leading teams has enabled you to build good working relationships and create a positive and supportive working environment. You have excelled in services management whilst influencing broad stakeholder groups across a matrix organisation.
The prospect of contributing to transformation initiatives excites you, and you’re highly motivated to achieve excellence in safety and service delivery.
This role would be well-suited to someone who can plan ahead, think strategically, innovate and apply a working knowledge of industrial relations. You should be comfortable facilitating change, managing relationships and delivering projects according to budget and schedule.

- You’re driven to succeed and are committed to championing safety in the workplace
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach, mentor and develop a large team
- Commercial and operational acumen, enabling you to effectively engage with stakeholders both internal and external to the business
- An understanding of the challenges associated with large scale mining operations and utilities
- Tertiary level qualifications in a transferrable field
- A current Manual C Class driver's license

Where you’ll be working
We encourage agile and flexible work arrangements. The role is flexible in the FIFO lifestyle. It will be expected that your average week allows you to remain in Perth at our Operations Centre for a portion of the week with visibility required at the Pilbara Mine Sites for the remainder.
