Manufacturing Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor

Work location: Gladstone, QLD

Roster: Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage staff on a daily basis and give direction according to the daily priorities
  • Manage and execute the raw material and semi-finished material in-bound / receiving process
  • Manage and execute the finished product packaging, loading and delivery to end customer
  • Ensure the correct inventory is maintained, preserved and accurately delivered to manufacturing line
  • Ensure all material movements are recorded in SAP system and audit process to ensure the teams comply with the requirements
  • Ensure all inventories are loaded on to holding racks in correct location, meeting regulatory and fire safety compliance
  • Manage and execute delivery truck arrival, Gate schedule and unloading priorities
  • Prepares / participate in annual production budget, oversees progress, and determines actions to cost issues as necessary in order to manage operations within the budget and resources
  • As Inventory Coordinator, ensure the inventory stock-outs, damages / write-offs and loss are minimised
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback, reports and warehouse status to operations and management teams to ensure successful communication on a day-to-day basis and effective planning on a daily, weekly and monthly planning cycles
  • Develops and executes plans to reduce non-value added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates
  • Responsible to ensure all assigned area lift trucks / material movement equipment are maintained and available for safe use

Qualifications and skills required:

  • 4 Year degree qualification preferred or role specific vocational training with related experience will be considered
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of the entire Supply Chain process (Vendor – Site)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and build effective relationships at all levels
  • Strategic planning and project management skills with an understanding of budget administration.
  • Preferred experience with SAP / S4Hanna
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellence
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Skilled in problem solving rapidly
