Marketing Analyst – Australia / Asia

Location: Preference is based in Perth however Brisbane would be a consideration

Relocation: This position is eligible for relocation for the right candidate 

This position located in Perth is a member of the Marketing, Distribution and Trading group supporting the FFI Portfolio and reports to the Head of Marketing – Australia.

This position will establish market analysis models and processes for FFI Marketing Australia - Asia team. The incumbent will support the analysis and interpretation of economic and marketing information relating to the value chain for Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia from renewables to customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the identification, analysis and interpretation of economic and marketing information
  • In collaboration with regional commercial analysts, identify the most profitable and feasible markets, industry sectors and product vectors to target
  • In conjunction with corporate, evaluate macroeconomic country analysis, policies, political context, supply and demand, infrastructure access and applicable tariffs, product netback price estimates and forecasts, risk and decision analysis
  • Work with the team assistant to ensure modelling, presentations and analysis support is provided to the marketing teams and other teams for international business trips and closely manage team requirements
  • Create management presentations and speeches as required
  • Align and communicate closely with the finance and planning groups who are the project economic model owners (e.g. Costs Curves)
  • Assist the thinking of combining Costs Curve, Demand Curve and Supply projections to assist the pricing strategy for marketing
  • Act as a point of integration across the portfolio

Qualification and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics or related field
  • Experience within LNG, Ammonia, Electricity or natural gas commercial experience with an E&P or energy infrastructure company
  • Excellent communication skills and must be able to excel in a cooperative and collaborative team environment

Travel Requirements:

The percentage of international travel required for this position is 20%
