Long Term Planner / Master Data Specailist
Work Location: Chichester Hub – Christmas Creek; Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
Roster: 4D3R ex Perth
Reporting to the OPF Senior Planner, the Master Data Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing master data development, quality and reporting. You will also maintain any long lead time plans to ensure material readiness for execution
Key accountabilities will include:
- Create, maintain and report on master data including Maintenance Plans, Task Lists, BOMs
- Maintain Major Events Calendar
- Create and maintain Functional Locations
- Assist in the budgeting process
- Understand long lead time plans to ensure all materials are processed to not delay execution
- Review and seek information from internal and external customers to ensure all plans are relevant.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Proven experience in Fixed Plant Maintenance
- Working experience with Maintenance Management Systems – experience with SAP and Projects within the last 2 years is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated use of MS Excel, Outlook, and Project
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present plans and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Work within a team environment including liaising with Planners, Engineering and Operations to ensure work orders are reviewed, planned prior to a shutdown.
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment.
- Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to solve practical problems.
