Material Logistics Officer

The Greenbushes Project is in the picturesque Southwest region of Western Australia in the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes. Our client, Talison Lithium, is the world’s leading lithium minerals concentrate provider and the Greenbushes project is recognised as containing the world’s highest grade and largest hard rock deposit of the lithium mineral spodumene. Macmahon is pleased to deliver surface mining operations at the project from 01 July 2023.
 

Due to upcoming growth on site, we require an experienced Material Logistics Officer. This position will be on an 8:6 roster and a Drive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) basis to & from Greenbushes, WA.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, daily duties include, but are not limited to:
•    Raise work orders & requisitions
•    Liaise with suppliers for parts & quotes
•    Provide administrative support to Maintenance Planners & Supervisors
•    Ensure goods are legitimate and are of high quality at competitive prices
•    Monitor and report of supplier performance
•    Assist with EOM reporting

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:
•    C Class Driver’s Licence
•    1-2 years’ experience in a similar position (ideally mining)
•    Previous experience using SAP or MainPac
•    Knowledge of OEM systems & literature (SIS, CAT etc)
•    Excellent time management & organisation skills 
•    Ability to communicate at all levels
