Title: Material Officer – Procurement & Expediting

Work location: Perth based (Hazelmere)

Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri)

In support of Fortescue’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of our key initiatives will be in our Green Fleet projects whereby we will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet

Based out our new Hazelmere R&D facility/ Murray Street Office, we are presently looking for an experienced Material Officer to join the Green Fleet Development team

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Create Purchase Requisitions
  • Tracking and expediting of ordered components.
  • Invoice processing
  • Ensuring compliance to receival processes.
  • Identifying and implementing processes to ensure efficient execution of accountabilities.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Previous experience in purchasing and expediting in a project or workshop setting would be advantageous.
  • Strong MS office and SAP skills required.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast pace environments
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Well-developed verbal & written communication skills
