MCORS Planner
Work Location: Perth. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Roster: Monday to Friday (12 months secondment)
Role overview:
Our Major Component Offsite Replacement Shutdown (MCORS) program is a centrally operated system that provides a high level of support to the workshops in our Pilbara Operations.
You will form part of our specialist HME maintenance team, that sits within our Asset Management and Reliability department. This team is accountable for fleet strategy, long-term planning, engineering/reliability and the MCORS program.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop detailed scopes for each offsite repair
- Provide a consistent link with vendors to ensure schedule adherence, cost control and prompt issue resolution
- Reporting on planned versus actual cost of program
- Build strong working relationships with vendors
- Build strong relationships with site personnel and long-term planning team
- Provide continuous improvements to MCORS systems and outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of Mining Mobile Maintenance practices
- Maintenance Planning background (SAP experience preferred)
- Capability to manage multiple projects at once
- Knowledge of vendor management processes
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Team oriented individual that collaborates well with numerous stakeholders well
