Work location: Perth-based (Redcliffe WA)

Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri)

Key accountabilities will include:

• Provide structural mechanical engineering support to heavy mobile equipment projects
• Lead vehicle concept and packaging
• Component ownership for all structural mechanical parts
• Develop technical specifications to meet project-specific objectives.
• Interpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications, and scopes.
• Resolution of technical and design issues.

Qualifications and skills required:

• Mechanical Engineering degree
• Experience with design, manufacturing, and operation of mobile equipment or rail equipment (i.e.: LVs, Heavy Mobile Equipment, Rail Locomotives and others) – essential
• Experience with 3D cad and concept level packaging- essential
• Experience developing scope of works – desired
• Demonstrated ability with vendor engagement experience
• Project experience advantageous
