Mechanical Engineer

Work Location: Cloudbreak. Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth

Role overview:

Mechanical Engineer working within the Cloudbreak OPF Engineering and Reliability Team. Working an 8:6 roster from Perth, the role will be to conduct engineering support to the Maintenance, Operations and Capital team. 

Key responsibilities include: (max 6 bullet points)

• RCA & ICAM Investigations
• Reliability & Improvements of OPF 
• Day-to-Day Maintenance Reliability Support
• Maintenance Strategy (FMECA) Development
• Capital Project Support

Education and Experience: (max 6 bullet points)

• 5 or more years of heavy industry experience preferably in Fixed Plant Ore processing.
• University Engineering Degree (Mechanical)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office and SAP
