Macmahon is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join the team based at the Perth Airport.

This position is responsible for liaising with internal & external customers to estimate, quote and monitor repairs on Mobile Plant Equipment.

You will be part of a small, high energy team where your multiple skill sets and qualifications will be highly valued.

The hours are Monday - Friday 6am - 4.30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with internal/external customers to estimate & monitor works on heavy earthmoving equipment - Experience with CAT / Hitachi highly regarded.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting for the customer base and internal management
• Coordinate the review of work to ensure quality, accuracy and completeness in line with customer requirements
• Provide expert advice and support on technical warranty claims
• Invoicing and reconciliation
• Liaise with OEM warranty departments to seek suitable outcomes
• Identify risks and development processes and implement suitable strategies around them

To be successful the following is required:

• 1-2 years in a similar position
• Australian Recognised Trade Background in Mechanical
• SAP experience with knowledge of Microsoft Suite
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage fluctuating workloads
• Mechanical background is a must

Should you be successful in this role, you will be required to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test along with obtaining a National Police Clearance.
