We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter Maintainer (Fixed Plant) to join the Maintenance team to execute planned, fault finding, breakdown repairs and opportune maintenance on our Wet and Dry Plants, Shiploader and Pump stations
As a member of the Fixed Plant Mechanical Maintenance Team, the purpose of this role will be to provide a safe and efficient facility through the execution of planned maintenance, fault finding, breakdown repairs and opportune maintenance.
You’ll be part of a friendly and high performing team supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. A family and lifestyle friendly 7/7 dayshift only roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will:
Complete Mechanical maintenance on all equipment in the fixed plant area, including but not limited to, conveyors, Motor/gearbox shaft alignment, axial flow and centrifugal pumps.
Troubleshooting, calibrating, repair and service of fixed plant assets
Conduct routine inspections of fixed plant assets including automatic lubrication systems and determine repair action when required.
Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with company policies and procedures.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects by increasing safety whilst reducing risk and cost
Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification.
Isolate equipment for maintenance and operational tasks.

Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift, Confined Space
A Manual C-class Australian driver’s licence
