We are looking for a Mechanical Maintainer to join our Shift Maintenance Team at Dampier Ports. Based at one of the largest bulk cargo port terminals in Australia, you will be working as part of a dynamic breakdown maintenance team conducting routine inspections and opportune maintenance activities as per the business requirements.
Working on a 5/5/4, 3 days 2 nights on 5 days off, 2 days- 3 nights on 5 day off, 2days- 2 nights, 4 off rotating roster. You will be reporting directly to the Team 3 Shift Maintenance Supervisor.
About The Role
The role involves but is not limited to, working in a high performing team environment undertaking high risk production orientated maintenance work for:
- Conducting fixed plant component change out as per RTIO HSEQ Policies and procedures.
- Carrying out scheduled inspections and maintenance on all our fixed plant systems working in with production needs.
- Performing quality notification and liaising with Planners and stake holders for future works.
- Performing breakdown response and temporary repairs as required.
What you’ll bring
- Current C Class Driver’s License ( MR Preferred )
- Current high risk work license ( WP, LF, RB )
- Confined space and working at heights
- MSIC
- Candidates that hold a Permit officer qualification for EII would be highly considered but not essential .
- An understanding of SAP and how to complete Notification and Time Confirmations
- A demonstrated ability to face challenges with a “can do” attitude and seek the best outcome for the reliability of our assets.
