We are looking for a Mechanical Maintainer (Utilities) to join our Utilities team at Cape Lambert Operations. The Utilities team manages the distribution of potable water and hydrocarbons across Cape Lambert Port & Rail Operations. This role is offered as residential based in Wickham or FIFO from Perth considered for the right applicant.

You’ll be part of a friendly team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work roster 8 days on 6 days off, which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the Utilities Supervisor, you will:
- Execute scheduled work plans and unplanned or/and breakdown work
- Ensure compliance to all Statutory Water and Waste Water regulations
- Promote effective maintenance awareness and safe work practices
- Operate Mini Excavators, fork lift and light truck
- Recommend improvements to existing processes and methods
- Work with Contractor Management and Technical Advisor personnel
- Complete Job Hazard Assessments, Take 5 and Critical Risk Management safety procedures
What you’ll bring
- Manual C Class Driver's Licence HR licence highly desirable
- Experience in Potable Water distribution systems
- Experience with Diesel fuel storage and distribution systems
- Proficient in use of the Microsoft Office and SAP maintenance systems
- Experience in investigation, recording, reporting and acting on outcomes from water testing reports, incidents, hazards and faults
- Good interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills to achieve a positive outcome
