ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role is a Permanent position on 9-day fortnight at our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.

As the Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and oversee the maintenance activities across calcination and liquor burning, ensuring compliance with the relevant safety and technical standards.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Develop and manage maintenance plans with Planning, manage intricate Evaporator Statutory Outages, and update work procedures as needed
• Adhere to safe work practices, ensure compliance with SAP processes, and accurately record work history in SAP notifications
• Support maintenance supervisors, coordinate breakdowns, manage Infield Parts, and monitor notifications for priority management
• Collaborate with Production Coordinators to schedule maintenance and drive continuous improvements for the area and maintenance teams

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• Prior experience in a similar role within the Mining Industry
• SAP data entry and processing skills
• Demonstrate commitment to safe working practices

Qualifications for this position are: 

• Mechanical Trade Certificate or extensive experience in the Mining industry   
• Current Drivers Licence
• High Risk Work License - Forklift (desirable)
