Our Opportunity

Location: Hedland Operations – Port (FIFO ex Perth or Residential) 


Roster: 4 Days On / 3 Days Off 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the planning and coordination of preventative and corrective maintenance across a diverse asset base 
  • Review approved notifications while supporting leaders to improve notification quality, standardisation and compliance
  • Develop clear, actionable work orders from notifications
  • Create, review, and maintain SAP master data notifications and requests to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity
  • Function as the SAP work management and tablet champion, providing frontline support and guidance to leaders and personnel
  • Partner with leaders to define scope, optimise resources, and maximise productivity 
  • Manage and monitor purchase requisitions and purchase orders for planned works and backfill labour 
  • Coordinate materials planning activities including stock numbers, inventory updates, and min/max stock levels
  • Prepare, track, and report metrics and work management KPIs, and use data to improve planning effectiveness and performance 
  • Lead planning and scheduling meetings that drive alignment, accountability, and outcomes  
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and support continuous improvement initiatives across functions  
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the team

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning within fixed plant or a similar operational environment 
  • Trade qualification and background 
  • Strong SAP capability and understanding of work management systems  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook), with planning tools such as MS Project highly regarded 
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage across multiple teams  
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
