We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Mill supervisor to join our Jaguar Operation. Located 60km north of Leonora and 250km north of Kalgoorlie, the operation includes Bentley underground mine and jaguar processing plant consisting of a dual flotation circuit producing a copper zinc concentrate.

The role is permanent, on an 8:6 DS / 7:7 NS continuous roster FIFO from Perth though DIDO options can be accommodated if required.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Manage documents and record keeping as per requirements of the relevant government legislation and departmental requirements
• Comply with Company objectives, policies, procedures, safe work practices, relevant Acts and Regulations and actively inform and encourage team members to achieve this.
• Comply with all plant isolation and permit procedures and policies.
• Perform a thorough prestart check on all equipment and vehicles before use.
• Deliver end of shift production report.
• Carry out and document daily inspections and changes of the plant tailings storage facility
• Safely control and use all related chemicals within the processing plant area.
• Understand and assist in the direction of emergency evacuation procedures.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Successfully completed the 6 month probation review.
• Successfully deemed competent in all four sections of the process plant.
• Have thorough operational knowledge of process plant service systems such as the tailings dam, raw water supply, RO water treatment plant and supply system.
• Over 24 months experience working in the Jaguar processing plant.
• Able to pass on skills and knowledge and mentor crew personnel.
• Have current site permit issuer, holder and isolation competencies.
• Capable of working unsupervised.
• Routinely exhibits superior performance.
