Mine Controller

Barminco are seeking applications from underground Mine Controllers to join our WA operation at Agnew Mine Site.

Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating the haulage and operation of all machinery onsite.

Responsible for operating the ventilation underground.

Duties

Cross shift Handoevrs – Obtain / provide information on the previous shift , any emergencies.

Attend Pre start meeting to obtain information of haulage requirements

Ensure all machines are fuelled and operational

Coordinate refuelling as needed via thee radio system

Coordinate service crew for ground and air support including operation of all ventilation systems

Emergency Response – Respond to all incidents via the radio systems ans coordinate relevant staff

Key Requirements:

Mine control / Mine dispatch experience preferred but not essential.

Advanced PC skills and computer literacy;

A good understanding of the underground mining process particularly load and haul;

Two years underground experience preferred;

Can demonstrate an innovative and results-driven mindset;

Reliable written and interpersonal skills

Understanding of safety processes and systems;

Maximise equipment productivity and efficiency in accordance to the 24 hour mine and maintenance plan;
