Embark on an exciting journey as a Mine Geologist within the dynamic Technical Services team at Tritton Copper Operations. As a pivotal member, you will collaborate closely with the Mine Geology Superintendent, contributing your expertise to gather, analyze, and present geological and geotechnical data with precision and safety as top priorities. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
- Conducting meticulous geological and geotechnical logging of drill core, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Establishing effective communication channels with the diamond drilling contractor, fostering seamless collaboration.
- Daily liaison with field staff, facilitating streamlined operations and information flow.
- Active participation in geological interpretation and modelling exercises as needed, leveraging your expertise to enhance project insights.
- Engaging in underground mapping of development drives, contributing to the comprehensive understanding of subsurface conditions.
- Assisting in the timely input and reporting of production data on a daily and weekly basis, ensuring operational transparency and efficiency.

Tritton Copper Operations is a long life copper operation located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales that commenced production in 2005. One hundred percent owned and operated by Aeris Resources, Tritton forms the cornerstone of Aeris copper production.
Tritton comprises an underground mining complex feeding a 1.8 million tonne per annum conventional processing plant. Copper concentrate produced at the operation is railed to the Port of Newcastle for export to customers internationally. The current mine plan for Tritton extends to FY2030.Our Process Our people rock!
