Ashton - Owned by Yancoal, Ashton is an underground mine and coal handling preparation plant located in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of NSW.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Mine Support Officer to join our Health, Safety and Training Team at Ashton Coal Operation.

The Mine Support Officer will be responsible for the delivery of professional and effective administration across the site. Some key tasks will include:

• Being the key payroll contact and payroll data entry specialist
• Key safety tasks including document control, incident reporting and action management
• Maintaining mine records management and monthly reporting.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience in the same or similar position
• Certificate III in Business Administration (highly desirable)
• Extensive experience in SAP (mandatory)
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using Intelex and Pegasus is highly advantageous
