The Role
We are seeking a Mine Support Stores Officer to join our HSET team. In this role you will provide stores support associated with mining activities and operational stores to meet statutory and operational requirements.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Tritton Copper Operations employs more than 400 people and is located in Hermidale, in Central New South Wales. Tritton has two underground copper mines (Tritton and Murrawombie) and is forecast to produce 20,000 tonnes copper metal in FY2022.
Tritton is a key employer within the region and a proud supporter of the community. We are a residential mine that allows you to be home each night to Nyngan. Accommodation support is provided as well as company transport to the operation. Nyngan is a family friendly community, with a variety of shops, gyms, and sporting activities as well as primary and high schools.

The Role
We are seeking a Mine Support Stores Officer to join our HSET team. In this role you will provide stores support associated with mining activities and operational stores to meet statutory and operational requirements.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Management and housekeeping of the Murrawombie operations stores areas
- Entering and ordering of all purchase requisitions
- Ordering all equipment that is stores stock from main store and unloading
- Stocktakes and ordering of all mining consumables and PPE
- Following up on outstanding external orders
- Ordering of cement, gravel and sand.
- Doing stocktakes of explosives and emulsion. (Need Explosives Security Clearance)
- Accepting and unloading of explosives and emulsion (Need Explosives Security Clearance)
- Vent store and bolt store underground restocking
- Transportation of mesh, bolts and plates to underground stores areas
- Unloading of ground support consumables from deliveries
- Planning of own day based on tasks and underground needs (liaise with shift supervisor)
- 7:7 roster
- You will be an excellent all rounder with a strong focus on team work.
- Self motivate with a high focus on task based work load
- Able to work underground
- Ability to get, or already have, an Explosives Security
- Able to use Pronto and Microsoft Office
- General computer proficiency
- Ideally have forklift and IT tickets
- Full LV licence
- HR licence (ideally)
