About the Role
We have a strong focus on finding individuals with the right values, leadership capability, and communication skills.Reporting to the Superintendent of Survey, you will foster collaborative working relationships across our Geoscience, Engineering, Studies and Operational Teams. This position is a site-based role at Leinster working with mining and infrastructure teams to deliver projects where you will play an integral role by:
- Providing spatial data for Underground Development and Production.
- Drill and Blast Ring Mark up.
- Laser install and heading Pickups.
- Survey Control Mark-up and Traversing.
- Stope and cave scanning.
- End of Month reconciliation.
Location
The role is working on a Fly in Fly out basis from Perth to Leinster (flexible roster arrangements available). Nickel West Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate.

About You

As the successful candidate, operational and technical experience or motivation is necessary as well as the following attributes:
- Qualification in Surveying and previous surveying experience.
- Previous underground experience is desirable not essential.
- Experience with UAV operations and REPL Licensed (Desirable)
- Experience using Deswick.
- Trimble GPS and Leica total station Experience.
- Optech CMS, and Carlson CALs Experience.
- EOM Volume reconciliation
