About the Role
We are currently seeking a Mine Utility Team Lead, to join our crew at Mt Keith. The successful individual will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring a high level of cleanliness across all mine site services is maintained. This is a hands-on role and having a positive can-do attitude is what we are looking for. This position will suit a self-motivated individual who has a flexible mindset and a great team spirit - a strong safety awareness and safe work ethic with exceptional leadership and communication skills. This role has a family friendly 7/7 dayshift roster.
Reporting to the People Logistics Supervisor you will demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a team lead position, whether it being Mine Utility, Peggy, Housekeeping, or Cleaning (2 years leadership and mine site experience is essential).
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong orientation to safe work practices, demonstrating a "can do" attitude
- Family friendly 7x7 roster FIFO from Perth
About you
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- Overriding commitment to BHP’s Charter, health, safety, environment and sustainable development
- Driver’s license and willingness to complete on-site driver training for restricted area access (essential)
- Working with the highest priority to safety at all times, striving to complete work within agreed timeframes
- Work effectively with other team members
- Ensure that all documentation and data entry is accurately completed
- Demonstrate and maintain a high standard of cleaning and undertake cleaning and safety inspections
