Job Responsibilities

Macmahon is currently seeking an experienced MineStar Builder to join the Macmahon Tropicana team. This position will be on an 8:6 roster, flying from Perth. You will be part of a high energy team so possession of multiple skill sets and licenses/qualifications will be highly regarded as they will greatly enhance your versatility within the role.
Reporting to the FMS Superintendent, the MineStar Builder will be responsible for accurately recording and reporting the operations of mining equipment. The focus of this role is on current shift performance and MineStar mine model health whilst providing support to the MineStar Controller, daily duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the mine controllers, including relief control where required - for meal breaks and leave coverage
• Provide supervision, training and support for internal and external personnel who utilize MineStar
• Verifying data and data analysis to ensure we are reaching best productivity
• Identify problems and continuously improving the system performance
• Assisting with troubleshooting and diagnostics 
• You will be the main point of contact when the FMS Superintendent is off site and are expected to attend required daily meetings
• Ensuring that maintenance standards and daily time usage reconciliations are kept at a high quality;
• Identifying opportunities for improvement in the equipment or work procedures; 

About you: 

• Previous experience with MineStar in a Manned Environment 
• Previous experience as a leading hand or supervisor
• Strong technical knowledge of mining and mining systems
• Strong technical knowledge and computing abilities
• Strong Reporting and Dashboard design and maintenance experience (Business Objects/PowerBI)
• Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to analyse problems and provide appropriate solutions.
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team; 
• Great interpersonal and communication skills;
• Demonstrating commitment to Macmahon safety culture and values; and
