Ravensworth Complex comprises of Ravensworth Open Cut and the Coal Handling Preparation Plant that provides high quality coal for the export market. The operation has approval to mine over 14Mtpa, with a long mine life. We are a large, dynamic mine committed to delivering safety and performance. Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, an exciting opportunity exists for a Mining Engineer to join our Ravensworth Operation.
The Role and Key Responsibilities:
This role is primarily responsible for;
- Supporting the short-term planning process at our truck/shovel operation.
- Assisting with the coordination of, planning, design and compliance of mining activities in accordance with the safety health management system.
- About you:
- As the successful Mining Engineer you will have;
- Minimum 5 years mining experience in a similar role
- Tertiary Qualifications (mining, civil or survey)
- Experience in the use of Vulcan, Deswik, Leica FMS and MinVu systems
Your strengths will include a pro-active attitude to safety, strong problem solving skills, an ability to work within a focused team and solid communication skills.
This role is Ideally suited to an individual with suitable technical skills and practical mining knowledge who is seeking development and career progression opportunities.
