We are looking for a Mining Executive to provide tactical and strategic support and guidance for the Operational and Technical Support product group.

Reporting to the Managing Director Operational and Technical Support, and working in a challenging and exciting environment within Iron Ore, you will:
Provide support to the Managing Director and lead projects as requested
Interact with key stakeholders to understand all the major aspects of strategic issues in order to conduct fact-based analyses and provide insights to the Managing Director
Assist in the preparation of papers for senior leadership team meetings
Assist in determining and articulating the strategic objectives of the business by conducting thorough analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses in an industry context and by engaging with key internal and external thought-leaders
Develop appropriate presentation and communication materials on behalf of the Managing Director
Prepare and coordinate briefing notes, regular reports as required
Shape and coordinate meeting agendas to ensure a strategic focus and that business critical issues are addressed and effective processes are followed
Act as the Secretary for various committees from meeting preparation to the minutes and follow up on action items from meetings
Facilitate the communication flow of information amongst the senior leadership team members
Assist in shaping and raising the external profile of the Managing Director by coordinating stakeholder strategy

Where you’ll be workingBased in the Perth CBD, Central Park, this role encourages agile ways of working, on a Monday – Friday roster. Regular travel to the Pilbara is required.
