The Greenbushes project is located in the picturesque South West region of Western Australia in the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes. Our client, Talison Lithium, is the world’s leading lithium minerals concentrate provider and the Greenbushes project is recognised as containing the world’s highest grade and largest hard rock deposit of the lithium mineral spodumene. Macmahon is pleased to deliver surface mining operations at the project from 01 July 2023.

 
Macmahon is seeking expressions of interest for a Mining Manager to join the Greenbushes team on a Drive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) basis. The Mining Manager is responsible for ensuring operations are executed in line with contract and client requirements. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Mining Manager provides critical technical engineering and management expertise.


About you

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role
  • extensive mining experience of 10+ years
  • Experience implementing mining statutory compliance - HSEQ, DMIRS regulations, WorkSafe
  • Proven history of successfully managing large multifunctional groups
  • Demonstrated delivery of project objectives and targets
  • High level of financial acumen with regards to operational objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well developed leadership and management skills
