Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Production superintendent, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to oversee and manage mining crews, carry out Statutory Inspections and to monitor and record performance data.

Skills and Experience

• Certificate of Competency as a NSW Open Cut Examiner (OCE).
• Sound understanding of large truck or excavator operations and Drill & Blast activities.
• Proven Leadership experience in Open Cut Coal Mining Operations.
• Exceptional commitment to safety and high standards.
• Sound Knowledge of NSW WH&S Legislation.
• Flexibility with work hours and ability to work rosters including rotating and night shifts.
• Proficient in the use of computers with experience in data management tools.
