About the role
This role offers a great opportunity for an engaging individual who has a passion for HME training, coaching, and assessing others in a safe and proactive manner. As a member of the technical training team, the scope of support ranges from new starters to existing personnel in addition to vendor management and on-site training courses in alignment to our Learning Management Framework.
Reporting to the Training Supervisor, you will:
Train frontline workforce through; infield one-on-one, classroom, or group delivery. Immersive simulator modules (Excavator, Dozer, KOM 830E, CAT 789)
Uphold integrity in the assessment process.
Support front line leaders in closing critical capability gaps identified through HME gap analysis data.
Support operators in their personal and career development plans.
Work in collaboration with OJTs for infield training in accordance with weekly training schedule
Support the Capability Development team’s efforts in promoting a growth mindset culture across our operation while contributing towards the SPS vision.
What you’ll bring

Training Qualifications: Completed TAE40116 and/or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Completed TAE Unit equivalents for TAEASS402 and TAEDEL301.
Mining Experience: Production cycle HME operational experience and competency for at least one type of the following machines: 992/1200 Loaders, D10/11 Dozers, Hitachi 3600 Excavator, CAT 14/16/24 Graders.
Experience with Komatsu FrontRunner™ Autonomous Haulage System (AHS).
A willingness to further upskill in additional HME, if applicable.
Immersive Technologies simulator experience is highly regarded otherwise upskilling will be provided, if applicable.
Where you’ll be working
This role will be based at Pannawonica (Mesa A and J), supporting production teams across Robe Valley. Located approximately 200kms Southwest of Karratha. This role will be offered on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
