MLO Administrator - Maintenance

The Tropicana Gold Project is a large gold mining operation located 330km north-east of Kalgoorlie, on the edge of Western Australia's Great Victoria Desert. Macmahon’s life of mine contract includes all mine planning, drill and blast, load and haul.

Macmahon is currently seeking an experienced Materials and Logistics Officer to join our team at Boston Shaker on an 4 days on 3 days off roster, flying in and out of Perth. Reporting to the Maintenance Department, this position is established to play a pivotal role in ensuring safety, efficiency and cost effective preparation is utilised to support the team.   

Key Duties/responsibilities include:

• Assist the Maintenance Department with administrative duties.
• Comply with incident management procedures ensuring reporting and investigation timeframes are achieved.
• Identify risks and hazards within working environment
• Recognising and recording defects 
• Additional data entry required from the Maintenance team 
• Support the development and compliance to the annual Maintenance budget
• Assist in acquiring parts both on and offsite in line with breakdown work orders
• Completion of oil samples ensuring information is correct 
• Ensure shift log is in line with uptime/downtime and data base related to breakdown in work orders

To be successful in this position you must have:

• 2 years or more experience in a similar role 
• Demonstrate experience with various CMM systems
• Knowledge of Maintenance KPI’s and reporting
• C class Drivers Licence
